Carolina Thunder

Did you know Clogging is the official State Dance of North Carolina? We did, and we celebrate it every week at Main Street.  Our Clogging program starts with Clogging 1 and 2 and moves into our Competitive Clogging Company called THE CAROLINA THUNDER.  Our Thunder dancers are split into different classes according to age and skill level, and they perform at various times during the year.  They also compete at 2 regional competitions in the spring.  Clogging styles vary, and our Thunder cloggers study both traditional and contemporary clogging.  We have over 120 competitive cloggers that you can hear tapping their toes daily at Main Street!
