Frequently Asked Questions

1. What does my monthly tuition cover?

Our tuition is "inclusive", meaning it covers much more than just dance classes. Your monthly tuition also includes your registration fee, your recital fee, a recital t-shirt, costume(s) for the spring recital, and two tickets to the spring recital. That's right!! There is NO ADDITIONAL COSTUME FEES for students in regular classes. (There may be some additional costumes fees for Company students.)

2. I registered online and I was charged a registration fee. Why?

Everyone pays the $10 up front. Then you subtract that $10 from your next month's tuition.

3. If my dancer is out sick or we are out of town, can we make up classes?

Yes!! When your dancer is sick or you can't make it to your regular class, just choose another class in the same level at a different time and you can come to that class. Since all classes of the same level are working on the same skills, your dancer can attend any class on their level to make up a missed class.

4. What is your weather policy for closing?

When it comes to weather we follow the Wake County School System schedule. Please keep in mind, we DO NOT follow their schedule for teacher workdays- Only weather related closings. If you are still unsure about whether we are closed due to weather, just call us and the message on voice mail will have instructions related to weather.

5. When do classes start and end? And can we join in the middle of the dance year?

Our dance season begins in mid August and runs through the 3rd week in May. We welcome new dancers throughout the fall. After Christmas, please call the studio for registration. We may place dancers in classes after Christmas, or we may have new classes that start in January and run for an abbreviated session. Just give us a call!

6. How long will the spring recital last??

We split our regular dance classes into several different recitals so that you do not have to spend 3 or 4 hours watching a lengthy recital when you have only come to see your children dance. Our spring recitals last no more than 1 hour and 15 minutes! If you would like to see more dance, you are welcome to come to one of our Company Showcases where all of our Company dancers perform their dances from the year. It's a great evening to bring younger dancers to as well. They enjoys watching the "big girls" dance!
