
Hello, this page was set up to give you information
regarding the Street Team. Please review our most frequently asked questions
located to the right in the gray box.
Main Street Dance attends local competitions each year;
and every other year we attend Nationals at the end of June, which is optional.
Each company will take 3 or 4 dances to
each local competition.
If you would like to be a Street Team member, you will need to register even if you were a member last
year.
Completed registration forms and dues can be turned into
the studio lobby. Make sure you hand it to Miss Christy, or you can turn it into
a Street Team member at the open houses or parent meetings.
Remember that joining the Street Team is completely
voluntary, and in no way do we want the Street Team to be a burden, just a help. If
you choose to register, you are promising to volunteer. You need to be a Street
Team member and have volunteered to receive the funds that will go towards your
dancers competition fees. All of the funds raised are divided evenly between
all of the Street Team dancers. The money raised can only be applied towards
competition fees and is non-refundable. If you don’t volunteer, no funds will be
applied to your dancer’s competition fees.
When you register for the Street Team, you will receive a newsletter or an email within 10 days; if you do not receive either, please contact me. It may mean I didn’t get your form, I mistyped your email address
or your email server didn’t except the email; this has happened in the past. I
don’t harass anyone to join or participate because I don’t want people to hide
from me when the see me coming. It’s up to you to make sure you register and
volunteer in the fundraisers.
Once you register for the Street Team, I’ll send you an
email with the username & password to access the Street Team Login page.

Who are we?
The Street Team is our parent booster organization that
supports our Company Dancers. These dedicated parents organize and participate
in fundraisers that further our dancers’ abilities to share the art they study
in our community and at competition.
Who can join the Street Team?
The Street Team is for any Petite, Premier, Junior or Elite
company parent.
Do I have to register for the Street Team?
No company parent is required to join the Street Team, it is
completely voluntary; but to have the money applied to your dancer’s
competition fees, you do need to register and volunteer.
What does the money go towards?
The money raised is applied to the dancer’s competition
fees. Main Street Company Dancers attend two local competitions in the spring.
The competition fees can run approximately $25 per dance; on average, we take 4
dances to each competition, Petites only take 3 dances.
What do I need to do to join?
Fill out the registration form and pay your $5 per family
registration fee. And most importantly VOLUNTEER and sell what you can. The
amount of money we raise is directly related to how much YOU volunteer and
sell.
