Main Street Dance is home to the award winning Main Street Company Dancers and is made up of 4 separate dance companies: The Petite Company, The Premier Company, The Junior Company, and the Elite Company.

Company dancers have made a commitment to pursue the art of dance to the very best of their abilities. The combine their talent with several hours of studio instruction time per week where they take technique, as well as choreography classes that incorporate ballet, lyrical, jazz, tap, and pointe (after pointe readiness is achieved).

The Dance Company competes in 2 regional dance competitions per year, plus we compete in Nationals every other year with our group dances and every year with solos, duets, trios, and small groups. In the 2010-11 dance season, our dancers competed at the Dance Machine Regional Competition in Winston Salem and received the following:

In the past two years we have also had several dancers hold National Titles. These Title holders spend their year representing the competition they hold titles under. They serve as announcers for the competitions, hand out awards, and are representatives for the competition throughout the year. To win a National title the dancers are judged in 4 different areas: a) Solo; b) Audition Class; c) photogenic; and d) Interview. We are extremely proud to be home to the following Title Holders:

In addition to the competitions, the Dance Company performs at various events in the Fuquay-Varina area. This includes A Day in Downtown and the 3rd Thursday Concert series. They also dance in the Angier and Fuquay-Varina Christmas parades, and have participated in various charitable events including the MS Walk.
