YOGA
Yoga is an activity that is accessible to absolutely everyone. It is a wonderful tool for reducing stress, clearing and relaxing the mind, and obtaining a general overall sense of well-being. During Yoga class we will be focusing on gentl yoga postures and breath awareness to improve the mind-body connection. Physical benefits include increased flexibility, stronger muscles, improved posture, and a strengthened immune system.
Participants should wear comfortable clothes that do not restrict movement in any way, preferably layered as some activities will warm the body and some will cool it down. Yoga is best performed in bare feet. Participants are also asked to bring a yoga mat, exercise mat, or large towel for floor work. If you don't have a yoga mat, don't worry. Standing work can be done on the bare floor.
The 4 week summer session is completely free. We would, however, like everyone to register for the class because space is limited! You can register online, or call the studio to reserve your spot!
The 4 week session starts Wednesday, July 15th. Sessions will be each Wednesday night from 7:00-8:00pm.
