Hello and welcome to the 2nd year of the Street Team. I want to extend a big thank you to everyone for their patience during our first year.

Remember that joining the Street Team is completely voluntary, but if you register, you are promising to help. You need to be a Street Team member AND have helped raise the funds that will go towards your dancers' competition fees. We usually take approximately four dances per company to each competition, and we average two competitions a year.

As you see, we have a new page with information and our own link to past newsletters and details regarding the fundraisers. Once you register for the Street Team, I'll send you an email with the username password to login.

If you would like to be a Street Team member for the 2008-09 dance year, you will need to register even if you were a member last year. Registration is closing on Friday, September 19th. I would like for you to fill out a registration form for each dancer. When you register your dancers we're asking that each family pay a $5 due. All checks need to be made out to the Street Team.

Completed registration forms and fee's can be placed in the pink and black mailbox on top of the white cabinet, or you can place them inside the folder in the Street Team mail center to the right of the little room door in the lobby, labeled "returned registration forms."

New to the Street Team?

The Street Team is our parent booster organization that supports our Main Team Dance company. These dedicated parents organize and participate in fundraisers that further our dancers' abilities to share the art that they study in our community and at competitions.

Who can join the Street Team? The Street Team is for any Petite, Premier and Elite company parent.

Do I have to register for the Street Team? No company parent has to join the Street Team, it is completely voluntary; but to have the money applied to your dancers' competition fees, you do need to register and help.

What does the money go towards? The money raised is applied to the dancers' competition fees. Main Street Company Dancers attend two local competitions in the Spring. The competition fees can range anywhere from $20 to $30 per dance; on average, we take 4 dances to each competition.
